Chef Daniel W. Scinto
Chef Dan Scinto's international experience is impressive. Much of his culinary education and training took place in Europe at prestigious properties such as the Hotel da’Arrigo, Milano Italy; the Hyatt Regency, Brussels Belgium; the Hotel Guardaval, Arosa Switzerland and the Loew’s Hotel & Casino, Monte Carlo Monaco. While in Monte Carlo, Danny was part of the culinary team that prepared the Royal Wedding Dinner for Princess Caroline.
Once back in the States, he continued his career locally at Le Chambord in Westport, leaving to become Owner & Chef of Tavern On Main in Bridgeport. In 1991, Woodbridge Country Club lured him into the country club restaurant business. Great River is fortunate to have Chef Dan in charge of our menus and all aspects of our culinary offerings for over six years.
